Meet the Founder / Conoce a la Fundadora
Founder & Executive Director
Hebelie Crespo is the Founder and Executive Director of Puentes de Esperanza, Inc., a Rochester, New York nonprofit dedicated to connecting Spanish-speaking individuals and families with resources, advocacy, and opportunities.
With a background in bilingual communication, community advocacy, customer service, and healthcare-related support, she is committed to improving access to information and services. She holds a Spanish Medical Translator Certificate from Monroe Community College and has experience helping families navigate healthcare systems and community resources.
Fluent in English and Spanish, Hebelie values clear communication, cultural awareness, confidentiality, and compassionate service. Through Puentes de Esperanza, she works to strengthen community connections and help families seek support with confidence and dignity.
Hebelie Crespo es la fundadora y directora ejecutiva de Puentes de Esperanza, Inc., una organización sin fines de lucro de Rochester, Nueva York, dedicada a conectar a personas y familias de habla hispana con recursos, apoyo comunitario y oportunidades.
Con experiencia en comunicación bilingüe, defensa comunitaria, servicio al cliente y asistencia relacionada con servicios de salud, está comprometida con mejorar el acceso a la información y los servicios. Cuenta con un certificado de Traducción Médica en Español de Monroe Community College y experiencia orientando a familias en sistemas de salud y recursos comunitarios.
Como profesional bilingüe en inglés y español, valora la comunicación clara, la sensibilidad cultural, la confidencialidad y el servicio compasivo. A través de Puentes de Esperanza, trabaja para fortalecer las conexiones comunitarias y ayudar a las familias a buscar apoyo con confianza y dignidad.
